Our team created this website as a starting place for health professionals to look for evidence-based interventions (EBIs). It can be overwhelming to find an EBI to suit your organization’s and community’s needs, so this page provides databases of resources on EBIs. California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare
The California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare database consists of child welfare-related programs. The site provides evidence for specific programs, and offers guidance on how to select and implement a program. The programs seek to improve child safety, increase family and community stability, and promote child and family wellbeing.

The CDC Prevention Resources for Action is a small collection of EBIs that have been developed by the CDC to deliver best practices for violence prevention.

Community Prevention Guide
The Community Prevention Guide consists of evidence-based interventions that the Community Preventive Services Task Force (CPSTF) found effective. Programs are intended to improve health by preventing or reducing injury, risky behaviors, disease, or complications.

The Evidence-Based Cancer Control Programs (EBCCP) is a National Cancer Institute (NCI) database consisting of cancer focused evidence-based interventions. This provides access to research-tested interventions, publications of study findings, and any relevant materials for the intervention.

The National Association of County & City Health Officials (NACCHO) database consists of a collection of award-winning evidence-based interventions that have been created by local health professionals. The programs are those that were awarded as Model Practices, meaning they show exemplary outcomes to address certain public health problems. Programs that are awarded as Model Practices are reviewed by a committee of local public health professionals.

The National Council on Aging (NCOA) Evidence-Based Programs database allows you to search for evidence-based interventions that are approved for funding through the Older Americans Act Title III-D. Interventions are intended to promote health and prevent disease for older adults and their caregivers.
